I’ll start off with saying I don’t like going to the dentist at all! But my feelings have changed, and I’m very happy I picked Downey Smile Center. They are very knowledgeable and helpful even with short notice emergency circumstances.

If you have a fear of the dentist you should read this!!! I have neglected my teeth for 40 years, I would go to a dentist when I was dealing with severe pain, have the tooth pulled or a root canal started but not one time did I ever go back to get the root canals finished. When I first went to Downey Smile (one I stopped throwing up) I was crying before I even walked in the door. I had a horrible dental experience when I was a child that has caused me to not to go to the dentist until it’s an emergency. They had to extract 6 teeth before they could even begin fixing the nightmare in my mouth. I say 6 teeth, but really it was 1 tooth & the other 5 were the pieces of the teeth from root canals I never went back to have finished from other dentists. I have gone to Downey Smile now 7 times, I’ve completed my root canals yesterday and I’m on my way to eventually being able to smile again without having my hand over my mouth. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still terrified of the dentist but knowing Mandy is there to hold my hand & talk me through it, makes it so much better for me. If you are terrified of the dentist, I strongly recommend Downey Smile. Tell them I sent you, I promise you they will take good care of you.
